Senior citizens deserve the right
to stay healthy, active and independent. The Family and
Social Services Administration provides services to help
seniors remain in their homes and communities as long as
possible instead of institutions, and to help older
Hoosiers remain healthy and safe.
FSSA's programs for seniors
include home health care, personal assistance,
home-delivered and congregate meals, adult day care and
respite care for families. FSSA also helps low-income
seniors pay for prescription drugs through Hoosier Rx
and administers the Indiana Long Term Care Insurance
Program, which provides valuable asset protection and
insurance to cover the cost of medical care.
